Activities

The Victoria Mews Activities Department is the most important part of our effort to boost the emotional well being of our residents. In addition to the regularly scheduled word games, and board and card games and the fun things like arts and crafts, we also sponsor lectures, documentaries, and also present live entertainment every week. Some of our residents enjoy getting together in small groups and listening to books on CD.

We continually and gently encourage participation because it helps to create a family atmosphere among our residents. We have regular meetings with our staff and our residents to seek new ideas for activities. In addition to the many in-house activities we offer we were able to take our residents to three shows at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
